The copyright situation of this work is theoretically uncertain, because in the country of origin copyright lasts 70 years after the death of the author, and the date of the author's death is unknown. Pead samuti lisama Ühendriikide avaliku omandi malli näitamaks, miks see teos on Ameerika Ühendriikides avalikus omandis. Arvesta sellega, et mõnes riigis kehtib autoriõigus kauem kui 70 aastat: Mehhikos 100 aastat, Jamaical 95 aastat, Colombias 80 aastat ning Guatemalas ja Samoas 75 aastat. See pilt ei pruugi olla avalikus omandis neis riikides, mis lisaks ei kohalda lühema tähtaja reeglit. Autoriõigus võib kehtida kauem, kui autor on prantslane, kes suri Teises maailmasõjas Prantsusmaa eest võideldes (lisateave), või venelane, kes teenis Teises maailmasõjas idarindel (nimetatakse Venemaal Suureks Isamaasõjaks) või kes Nõukogude repressioonide ohvrina on postuumselt rehabiliteeritud (lisateave).
