Español: Faro del cabo Espartel, cerca de Tánger, Marruecos. El faro, de 24 m de altitud, se construyó entre 1861 y 1864 y fue entonces un ejemplo de cooperacion internacional, en este caso entre los gobiernos del Reino Unido, Francia, España y los Estados Unidos que financiaron la construcción y mantenimiento del faro y acordaron su neutralidad en caso de guerra entre estos países.
English: Lighthouse of Cape Spartel, near Tangier, northern Morocco. The 24 metres (79 ft) hight lighthouse was constructed between 1861 and 1864 and and was a prime example of international agreement, in this case between the British, French, Spanish, and American governments that supported the lighthouse’s construction, and also agreed its neutrality in case of war.

Latarnię o wysokości 24 m zbudowano w latach 1861–1864 i była wówczas przykładem współpracy międzynarodowej, w tym przypadku pomiędzy rządami Wielkiej Brytanii, Francji, Hiszpanii i Stanów Zjednoczonych, które sfinansowały budowę i utrzymanie latarni oraz uzgodniły jej neutralność w przypadku wojny między tymi państwami.

Deutsch: Leuchtturm am Kap Spartel, in der Nähe von Tanger (Nord-Marokko). Der 24 Meter hohe Leuchtturm wurde zwischen 1861 und 1864 erbaut und war ein Paradebeispiel für ein internationales Abkommen, in diesem Fall zwischen den britischen, französischen, spanischen und US-amerikanischen Regierungen, die den Bau des Leuchtturms unterstützten und auch dessen Neutralität im Kriegsfall vereinbarten.
